Fernando has a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and a Master of Architecture from the University of New Mexico. He joined the firm in 2003 and is working on his Intern Development Program requirements.

Fernando is a first-generation American on his mother's side and the first person in his family to earn a university degree. His Latin/Catholic heritage is very important to him and he expresses it in his work and through his humor.
