DESIGN PROFESSIONAL

Brought up at the crossroads of Mexico and the United States, Mario Devora pursues a deeper understanding of the impoverished communities he grew up knowing through the lens of architecture. The complexities in social/infrastructural systems that surrounded him growing up in El Paso, Texas has made him dig deeper into the valuable lessons held by those who are marginalized and disenfranchised. This is all in an attempt to give back to these very communities that allowed him to further his education at University of New Mexico (M.S.Arch, 2019), and most recently at UC Berkeley (M.Arch, 2022). Working towards his licensure, Mario likes to volunteer his time to better serve communities through education and manual labor, so if an extra pair of hands is needed, Mario is happy to hear from you! – Mario Devora, Assoc.
